Jason Collett rolled into town a few weeks back. A great performance ensued. Sometimes shooting at Lucky Bar can be a horrible experience. Luckily (no pun intended) it was pretty good this time.

Attack In Black, and Ladyhawk are two of my favourite bands. So when they came to town together, I was more than excited.

Counting Heartbeats are the reason I got into photography, and the reason I kept going. They played their first show on the island in over a year and they were so good to hear and see again. It was like that year never happened.

My Broken Hero played their CD release show this past weekend in Port Alberni. I took some pictures without a flash in some weird lighting. Some of the results were cool. Some, not so much. Here’s a few cool ones and a couple not so much ones.

Back in April, I headed over to Vancouver to shoot Ladyhawk for the Metropolitan. As great as they were (as usual) they were only the opener; Black Mountain was headlining that night. The Metro never ended up using the Black Mountain photos, so now here they are for you!
